Mule Deer
The Nebraska Sandhills region offers some of the finest deer hunting in the west. Mule deer dominate this 19,000 acre ranch in west-central Nebraska. The property is ideal mule deer habitat, being comprised of rugged hills and bluffs that is inerspersed with prairie grasslands and irrigated rye or alfalfa fields. The ranch supports a healthy population deer and its common to see several bucks each day during your hunt. Success rates in recent years have been close to 100% on 4-point bucks averaging from 150"-170". Hunters are accommodated in a comfortable ranch house, with modern conveniences and home cooked meals provided. All hunts are conducted on a 2X1 basis, with the ranch owner serving as your guide. Much of the terrain can be traveled in a 4X4 pick-up, with a bit of light hiking for the final stalk. Best of all, the rancher is limiting this hunt to only 4 total hunters, so you can be assured that hunting pressure will be very light, with a minimal harvest of mature bucks.
This property also has the occasional Trophy Whitetail as well! This hunt includes guide, lodging, meals and field care of your trophy. Not included are Transportation to the ranch, license, gratuities and personal items. You can purchase your license online at ngpc-permits.ne.gov.
